Dear UD Junkies,

Yesterday I took my first ever trip to an Ulta Beauty store. So I picked up the eyeshadow palette above. It’s the Ammo Palette by Urban Decay! I have been eyeing this palette for quite some time but haven’t been able to get myself to purchase it. Yesterday was a game changer because it was on sale for only sixteen dollars! The woman at the counter said that these were the fastest selling products of the day and that I was lucky to get my hands on one. I am so happy to have gotten mine and I’d hope that anyone lusting after one can have one too at last. Because the sale is crazy cheap, I’m not sure if they are available in stores anymore, however I will link it down below!(:

Let’s start with the packaging. I’m so incredibly in love with it, there aren’t really words to describe it. It’s very girly punk which is totally my style! Its travel size so it’s so easy to carry with me when I’m on the go. Also, the mirror is a quite decent size. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the “travel size” primer was actually so large. The only fault I see in it is that the eyeshadow brush is only one-sided as compared to the double-sided ones that come along with the Naked palettes. Other than that I’m very happy with the packaging and the technicalities of the product.

The actual eyeshadows themselves are wonderful. They are all shimmer and glitter shades. I love the fact that there are neutral colors mixed in with much more vibrant hues. Because they are all shimmers and glitters, they aren’t the easiest to blend. However, with a gentle and precise approach it is possible! My two favorite shades are Grifter and Chopper. I’m in love with Grifter because of its vibrancy and color payoff. The color pops without being too over the top which is something i truly appreciate. I find Chopper amazing because it is a good crease color for a pink toned smoky eye which is one of my go-to makeup looks.

Smog, Mildew, Oil Slick, Last Call, Chopper

Bottom Row:

Maui Wowie, Shattered, Polyester Bride, Grifter, Sin

If you’re looking to add some color into your eye makeup game, I would seriously suggest this palette. I think it is a good transitional product for those who are trying to branch out with their makeup but don’t know quite where to begin. It really offers the best of both worlds for a great price. I hope you’ve enjoyed my review of this product. Let me know what you think in the comments!
