Dear Finicky Friends,
I know that it is important to maintain a healthy diet, but honestly its hard. Most healthy foods don’t taste very good and I tend to avoid them. I’m know, I’m bad. ): But, I’ve found that smoothies are an incredibly delicious exception. The strawberries, banana, yogurt, and granola all provide the nutrients you need while being simultaniuosly tasty! So I put together my own smoothie recipe. It’s very basic and literally anyone can follow it. I’d like to share it with you so that we could all have some yummy/healthy treats!
You will need a total of 6 ingredients:
– 3-4 Frozen/fresh strawberries
– Orange juice (however much you feel like, its your smoothie!)
– A couple ice cubes
-2 spoonfuls of Greek yogurt
You will also need a blender or a Magic Bullet, which is what I use and highly recommend.
Here’s the step-by-step routine:
1. Place the banana into the blender
2. Add the strawberries
3.Add the ice cubes
4.Pour your orange juice!
5. Plop in that Greek Yogurt
6. Start Mixing!
7. Stop mixing when the smoothie is the perfect level of thickness for you
8. Pour into a cute cup(:
9. Add granola on top!
10. Enjoy! (:
